1870 ca, TORINO, ITALY: The italian Baronessa MARY VISCONTI di ORNAVASSO, born in Tunis from the conte and barone Felice RAFFO (1820 c- 1876) General of Beylical Army (Sahib Al-Mali) and Director of the Tunisian Ministry of Foreign Affairs with Mary Elisabeth Mylius (born in Tunis), married in Tunis 1846.Mary was married in Firenze, 28 april 1873, with barone Carlo Alberto Visconti di Ornavasso (bor in Torino, 1842) diplomat Segretario di Legazione in Tunis, the couple haved a daughter: Maria Teresa (Meriam) Visconti (Tunis 1875-Torino 1938), later married in Torino, 1898, with Fernando Perrone dei conti di San Martino (Torino 1874-ivi 1936). The Felice Raffo's maternal aunt (with family name Sanna, originally from Sardinia) was the sixth wife of the Bey of Tunis.
