1896, Berlin, GERMANY: The german military Colonel RICHARD Von BENTIVEGNI (1827-1904). Member of the Geography Society of Berlin since 1861.The German branch of the noble Bentivegni was derived from italian Girolamo Saverio Bentivegni (Rimini 1746-Danzig 1795) that from 1780 c. he was Captain of a Royal Regiment of prince Frederick Wilhelm in Pozdam, Prussia, married with Marianna Eleonora De Marsigli (Vignanello, 1765-Seehof, Kr., Schlawe, 1819). Even today there are direct descendants with this surname in Germany.
