Immaginario Alpino - exhibition opening

We are pleased to announce the exhibition Immaginario alpino. Escursioni fotografiche negli archivi Alinari (Alpine Imaginary. Photographic Excursions in the Alinari Archives) at Le Gallerie di Trento.

Organized by Fondazione Museo storico del Trentino in collaboration with our Foundation, the exhibition is part of the Milan-Cortina 2026 Cultural Olympics.
Immaginario Alpino, curated by Muriel Prandato in collaboration with Giulia Donini, Roberta Tait and Sara Zanatta, brings to life over a century of stories and visions of the Alps through 100 archival photographs.
This historical photography exhibition depicts the Alps as a living space, combining visual anthropology and cultural landscape. The images often reveal human landscapes, depicting transits, resistance and memories. It is a portrait of the Alpine space where past and present, highlands and valleys, gazes and practices, and stereotypes and fragments of reality converge.
