Una rete in viaggio 2026 - Portrait and National Identity

On Thursday 14 May 2026, from 5 pm to 7 pm, Villa Fabbricotti (Florence, Via Vittorio Emanuele II, 64) will host the third and final event of the fifth edition of Una Rete in viaggio — a programme curated by RETE FOTOGRAFIA that, once again this spring, brings together institutions and photographic archives in a vibrant, thought-provoking dialogue.

Entitled Portrait and National Identity, the event explores the role of portraiture in shaping a nation's collective imagination — and serves as a moment of reflection ahead of the new edition of Archivi Aperti (16–25 October 2026), dedicated to the themes of identity and equality.

  • Lucjan Bedeni, Marubi National Museum of Photography in Shkodër (Albania)
  • Claudia Colecchia, Fototeca dei Civici Musei di Storia ed Arte – Trieste
  • Elena Correra, Fondazione Cineteca di Bologna
  • Lucia Simona Pacchierotti, Fondazione Antico Ospedale Santa Maria della Scala – Fototeca Giuliano Briganti
