To mark the 70th anniversary of the twinning of Paris and Rome, this project compares the two capitals, highlighting their shared cultural affinities while also emphasising their distinctive features.

Through the 19th century photographs of Alinari, Brogi, and Anderson and their influence on modern literature and sculpture, from D'Annunzio to Rodin and Bourdelle, the project retraced the rediscovery and reinterpretation of Michelangelo's work between the 19th and 20th centuries.
