La sottilità dell’aria. Arezzo and its territory in the Alinari Archives – extended until October 31, 2023, at Casa Museo dell’Antiquariato Ivan Bruschi, Corso Italia 14, Arezzo
Great success for the exhibition “La sottilità dell'aria. Arezzo and its territory in the Alinari Archives”, at Casa Museo dell'Antiquariato Ivan Bruschi in Arezzo, extended until Tuesday 31 October, 2023.
The exhibition, curated by Rita Scartoni in collaboration with Muriel Prandato, opens a window on one hundred years of history of the Arezzo area, from 1856 to 1954, through a selection of photographs that represent the lands of Arezzo, including the ones of great photographers and publishers such as Alinari and Brogi, of Vittorio Alinari, Aurelio Monteverde and Vincenzo Balocchi.
We would also like to remind you that Saturday 4 March, 2023, at 4 pm, a meeting followed by a guided tour of the exhibition will be held at the museum with Rita Scartoni: a moment of study that will allow the public to discover the technique, the art and characteristics of the photographers who immortalised the Arezzo area at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.
